New Civilization
Directions: Create your new civilization with the knowledge that you have learned throughout this project.
Summary of Civilization:
They live in Madagascar. They lived in small collected groups based on on the amount of work they did for the community. One community was for hunting, one was for fishing, and one for farming. The empire was the largest village in Madagascar. While the others sielntly obeyed the priests, the followers had to fish and hunt for the leaders. No one knows how these priest's came in control, but we are guessing that they just came in control by taking charge out of no where.
Government of Civilization:
Their government was run by the preist. They had something similar to a constitution, it was called The Spirit of The Gods. They were only allowed to hunt if the priest gave them permission. They must be older than 10 to be able to hunt or fish. If they lived in Madagascar they must be catholic. They couldn't be out of their houses after sundown. No going into other peoples houses without the owners permission. You must always must obey your elders. They also must only practice their religion--catholic in the Sherpence, a meeting hall in the villiage.
Geography of Civilization:
They acient civilization we are telling you about was located in Northern Madagascar. The volcano erupted rarely, but when it did the lava didn't get very far. There is really no other discription to where this tribe was located.
Climate of Civilization:
In Madagascar the temperature is always warm. It is usually from 60 degrees to 100 degrees farenhite. It got very hot.
Art and Architecture:
They made beautiful necklaces but only a few remain. These are very valuable and are stored over top security. At Fort Knox, where currently the U.S.'s gold is being stored. They also made big temples that the bodies laid inside so theat their temple would be "pure" of human work. On the walls of the temple they had faces of wisdom. These faces looked some what like the heads from the Olmec culture. We are still figuring out if their is any connection between the two art sculptures.
Culture:
The culture of this tribe, was very different from most tribes. they ate tropical plants and animals along with fish. Their clothes were very traditional, they dressed in the fur of the animals. However the fur was very thin so they didn't get hot wearing their clothes. They practiced the religon of Calthoic. They were very religious. This religion was basic and complex at the same time.
Technology:
They used technology from the New Stone Age. They had bronze, copper, and metal hunting tools. They fished, hunted, and rarely farmed because they didn't have very good soil. They hunted with spears, bow and arrows, hammers, axes, hamers, hoes, and sickles.
